As the much-awaited 2023 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup draws to a close, today's Google Doodle honours the height of cricketing perfection. The match that promises to be a spectacle for fans worldwide centres on the fierce struggle between cricketing heavyweights Australia and India as they fight for the coveted title.

Ten national teams, each vying for the ultimate title, displayed their cricketing ability at this year's tournament, which was hosted by India. Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, and Sri Lanka were among the teams that took part.
