OpenAI Ex-CEO Sam Altman and former President Greg Brockman, who were ousted by the organisation a couple of days back, during a meet, have now joined Microsoft.

The announcement of their joining has come by Satya Nadella, the executive chairman and CEO of Microsoft on Monday through his X handle.

Here’s what he wrote:

It is to be noted here that both, Sam and Greg on Sunday joined executives at the OpenAI San Francisco headquarters after interim CEO Mira Murati invited them.

Sharing it on his X account, wearing a guest badge of OpenAI, Sam Altman shared his picture captioning, “first and last time i ever wear one of these”

It is to be noted here that Sam was fired by the company on November 18, while attending a meeting. Followed by this, the OpenAI through its official blog shared, “Altman’s departure follows a deliberative review process by the board, which concluded that he was not consistently candid in his communications with the board, hindering its ability to exercise its responsibilities. The board no longer has confidence in his ability to continue leading OpenAI.”

Following this, Mira Murati has been appointed as interim CEO to lead OpenAI as Sam Altman departs the company.
