Realme C55 mobile Launched in India with a Stunning 64MP AI camera, 33W charging at just Rs 10,999

The Realme C55 is introduced to India by Realme India two weeks after its initial announcement in Indonesia. Similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island, the phone has a Mini Capsule feature that shows notifications, battery alerts, and data usage alongside the hole punch cutout on display.

The C55, according to Realme, is the first C-Series device with significant updates. It has features including a stunning 64MP camera with a sensor. The smartphone is offered in three configurations: 4GB of RAM + 64 GB of internal space, 6GB of RAM + 64 GB of internal space, and 8GB of RAM + 128 GB of internal space, each costing Rs 10,999, Rs 11,999, and Rs 13,999. On March 28, the first sale will begin at noon.

The Mali-G52 MC2 GPU and Mediatek Helio G88 chipset power the Realme C55. Moreover, the phone has USB Type-C 2.0, Realme UI 4.0 and Android 13 are both preinstalled on the device. The Realme C55 offers up to 16GB of dynamic Memory, and DRE Technology allows you to add up to 8GB of RAM.

A 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel secondary camera, and a 2-megapixel B&W lens are all included with the Realme C55. The sensor, identical to the one used on the Realme GT Master Edition, is the first in the C-Series family to feature. The premier sensor with a 0.7μm big pixel size and a 1/2 inch optical format is a noticeable speciality. According to the smartphone manufacturer, the phone’s clarity and resolution have increased by 53.8% when compared to the Realme C35, which it superseded.

A variety of photo settings are offered with the Realme C55, including night mode, street photography mode, bokeh portrait, AI colour portrait, starry mode, and others.

Battery and Design

With a 5000mAh bigger battery, the Realme C55 provides the fastest charging in its class at 33W, offering up to 27 days of backup life and 27.8 hours of talk time. A five-core protection system for overcharge prevention, overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, overtemperature protection, and extreme case protection is also included with the Realme C55.

Realme C55 has a “sun-shower” design and is 7.89mm slim. Although the phone has two large cutouts for the cameras, the aperture is actually quite small. Flat sides and a punch hole in the display’s centre are the other features of the phone.

On March 28 at noon, through Realme’s own site and store, Flipkart and other participating retailers, the sale will begin. A Rs 1,000 exchange offer is available as a part of the pre-booking promotion. In addition, Realme is announcing a special promotion for students from March 28 to March 31 that includes a free Realme Buds Q2 for every Realme Q55 purchase made in Realme Stores in the country.
