Google is now set to introduce generative artificial intelligence (AI) to its Search tool for users in India and Japan that will show the text or visual results to prompts, including summaries.

This feature, which was first launched only in the United States, was rolled out in two nations this week, and users will have the choice to opt in for it.

Google AI will be in Hindi, English for Indian users

Now, Japanese users will be able to use the feature in their local languages, while for India it will be available in English and Hindi languages.

Notably, Google’s search feature is meant to be used for seeking information like locating something to purchase. However, it is different from its chatbot Bard, which has a different persona that can hold human-like conversations too.

Moreover, Google’s AI search competes with Microsoft’s Bing.
