Following the failure of Google's AI chatbot Gemini, the CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk has now attacked Microsoft. The billionaire said that he had purchased a new laptop on his privately owned platform, X. Musk tagged the company and said, "Not cool," after failing to log in to his new gadget.

In a string of messages, he mentioned, “Community Notes is failing here. This option no longer exists.”

Here's what actually happened:

Elon Musk recently bought a new laptop and expressed frustration on social media about the requirement to create a Microsoft account during the setup process. He expressed concerns that this might grant access to his data for Microsoft's AI, Copilot.
Interestingly, Microsoft requests that customers to login into Windows in order to deliver "a smooth user experience" and "improved security." According to the information, Microsoft requires your login in order to offer personalized settings, sync data across devices, and block unwanted access.

It is important to note that creating a Microsoft account is not mandatory for using Windows 11. While it offers certain benefits like syncing settings across devices and accessing Microsoft services, there is an option to skip creating an account and use the operating system locally. This option might not have been readily apparent during Musk's setup process, leading to his misunderstanding.

The post from Elon Musk has left the users on social media to react in different ways. While some of the users agreed to the Tesla CEO, others agreed to Musk.
