Microsoft, the tech giant is all set to release its next major Windows update with “over 150 new features” later this month. The company while announcing the move said that Microsoft will equip generative AI to all its products. Along with this, it will also make tons of smaller changes to the operating system as well.

According to the official announcement, the new features will be available from September 26. It also mentioned that some of the featured updates will be available on the same day while other will be available later. It is also anticipated that at the initial level the Windows updates will be available out to smaller groups and after checking for problems, it will be rolled out to the larger groups.

While announcing the new Windows update ‘Capilot’, the company mentioned it on its official twitter account that they are taking the next step to create more unified experience.

Same like Bing Chat assistance, Capilot in windows can be used to generate text or answer to questions and generate images via the DALL-E-powered Bing Image Generator. As per experts, the integration into Windows means that it will be able to open apps, change system settings, reorganize windows, edit photos and screenshots, and generate inline text in some apps.

In addition to this, the update will also have a huge solid batch of features which will have nothing to do with generative AI.
