Ye’s, famously known as Kayne West, social media X account is again activated after eight months of suspension due to the rapper violating the micro-blogging site’s rules prohibiting incitements to violence.
Now, his account shows his last post from December 2, just a day before his account was suspended on platform X, the new name given by Elon Musk to Twitter.
However, the American rapper won’t be eligible to monetise his account on X and advertisements won’t appear next to his posts, said the media reports, citing the social media platform’s statements,
Ye’s account was suspended in December, just two months after it was reinstated after one of his posts had earlier appeared to show a swastika symbol inside a Star of David.
According to the reports, X has reinstated his account after receiving reassurance that he would not use the platform to share antisemitic or otherwise harmful language.
Since he is back on the micro-blogging site, Kanye West has not posted anything yet.
X CEO Elon Musk, who calls himself a free speech absolutist, welcomed the return of the rapper to the platform in October after his account was reinstated for the first time.
We’ve officially unbanned Mr. Kanye West.

Earlier, Elon Musk had reinstated former US President Donald Trump’s account after conducting a poll in which some 14.8 million Twitter users had voted with 51.8% voting in favour of the reinstatement. But Trump had said that he had no interest in returning to Twitter and would stick with his new platform Truth Social.
For people who are unaware, after Kanye West went on a string of antisemitic rants in interviews and on social media he lost his partnership with Adidas and Gap for Yeezy products.
