People will not believe that world’s one of the renowned CEO does not have an Instagram account of his own. Yes! Instagram has recently removed a fake account impersonating Apple CEO Tim Cook. According to the information, all the senior people including senior VPs were following the fake account.

The account which has garnered several followers was came into light after one of the agencies disclosed the information. Apple VPs like Lisa Jackson (Apple VP for Environment, Policy, and Social Initiatives) and Alan Dye (Human Interface Design) were following the fake account operated under the username ‘tim.d.cook.’

Despite of the popularity of the social media platform, it’s worth noting that Cook has been using only Twitter since 2013. However, Cook is actively present in Twitter. furthermore, Apple maintains that its official account social media is present on multiple platforms. Notably, several senior executives of the company engage on various social media platforms, including TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram.

The spurious account of Tim Cook account have also shared some of the photographs and the first post was shared on August 20, commemorating the World Photography Day. Two photographs, captured with an iPhone, were shared.

Following this, another post got surfaced on August 23, was a 30-second advertisement for the collaborative campaign with 3DPets. Both posts were replicated from official Twitter page of Tim Coon and extolled the camera and LiDAR capabilities of the iPhone 14 Pro.
