Google has released features including "polls, Q&A, and reactions" on its mobile video conferencing software Meet, which aim to facilitate user interaction during live streaming.  Users can use these capabilities "when they are available" if they join a live stream through the Google Meet app on their iOS or Android device, according to the tech giant. Furthermore, the business stated that the usual live streaming experience is unaffected by this upgrade and is only applicable to "ultra-low latency live feeds."

Meet's addition

The software giant claims that Meet's "Q&A" function will make it simple to help audiences obtain the answers to their questions and improve audience engagement at work and in the classroom, while "polls" may be used to determine whether themes require further discussion or to gauge audience comprehension of the meeting's material.

AI and Google

In the meantime, Google has updated the artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities of its Chromebook Plus notebooks, enabling users to communicate with Gemini and alter images, among other things. Chromebook Plus models, which start at $350, come with extra AI features including the best security in the business, Google apps, and longer battery life.
