Snapchat is introducing new features that will allow its users to interact with the platform in newer ways and improve existing experiences. There are a couple of artificial intelligence (AI) powered features as well, and all of these are gradually being rolled out. Some of these features will only be available to the Snapchat+ paid subscribers. It is adding features such as Editable Chats, Emoji reactions, My AI reminders, an AI-powered feature to generate custom outfits for their Bitmoji avatar.
New features have started rolling out for Snapchat users. To make the user experience more interactive, the company has started rolling out these features. Many AI powered features have been included in the app. These are gradually being rolled out for all users.
In this feature, users will get the facility to edit the message up to five minutes after sending it. This feature will work in the same way as the Edit feature of WhatsApp works. This feature is currently available for Snapchat Plus users. This feature can be rolled out for all users in the coming weeks.
Until now, users had the option to react with Bitmojis on chat messages. Snapchat has now added standard emojis to react with. So, for this you have to tap on the chat, choose the '+' icon and then select from among the list of standard emojis.
Another amazing feature is My AI Reminders. This will allow users to set reminders by sending a quick message to My AI with the event name, date and time. Once sent, My AI will start the in-app countdown and share a notification when the counter reaches zero.
Apart from this, two more new features have been added to Snapchat. The first of which is AI powered Bitmoji Outfit Generator. Here users will have to write a short description and this feature will create similar garments with the help of AI. These outfits will be generated with unique patterns, colors, designs.
Whereas, the second feature is 90s AI Lens. It was launched a few days ago and was named '90s AI Lens'. AI Lens is essentially an AI-powered filter with creative effects that are automatically applied after you click an image.
Share location-based reactions on Snap Map, allowing users to connect with friends in real-time through gestures like waves or hearts.
