OnePlus Open: The folding marvel

OnePlus enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for the launch of the OnePlus Open on October 19. OnePlus is making its debut in the world of foldable smartphones. ‘OnePlus Open’ was developed as a collaborative effort between OnePlus and Oppo. The device is expected to showcase the signature features of OnePlus including Hasselblad-tuned camera system, the iconic alert slider, and a bloatware-free OxygenOS.

As per the reports, the OnePlus Open will be a premium device powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with up to 18 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. Importantly, OnePlus is set to introduce a periscope zoom lens, and the entire camera setup will be tuned by Hasselblad. The OnePlus Open is poised to compete with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5, setting a high benchmark for foldable devices in India.

Redmi Note 13 Series: Xiaomi’s latest innovation

Xiaomi has recently released its Redmi Note 13 series in China, which also includes Redmi Note 13 Pro+. These highly-anticipated devices are expected to make their debut in India soon, with the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ standing out as the series’ crown jewel.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is a standout smartphone due to its curved AMOLED screen and its powerful MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC. The Redmi Note 13 series, is rumored to be one of the first smartphones to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. This will provide an array of new features and customization options with a redesigned rear panel, which integrates three distinct camera units. The top-of-the-line variant, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+, sports an impressive 200 MP primary camera and is Xiaomi’s first mid-range Redmi Note device to offer an IP68 water and dust resistance rating.

Realme GT 5: Power and performance

Realme is set to announce the Realme GT 5, a performance-oriented device featuring the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. This smartphone is poised to make a statement with its substantial 5,300 mAh battery, supporting rapid 150W fast charging. The phone’s distinctive feature is its unique lighting system on the back, emphasizing the use of Qualcomm’s top-tier chip. While the Realme GT 5 might not be a flagship in the traditional sense, it competes effectively in the high-performance, value-for-money segment.

Xiaomi 14: First with HyperOS

Xiaomi’s upcoming Xiaomi 14 is making waves as the first smartphone to launch with the new HyperOS. As per the reports, this smartphone is based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and is likely to incorporate a Leica-tuned camera setup, reminiscent of its predecessor, the Xiaomi 13.
