He's all set to roll out two fresh premium subscription plans that are bound to enhance your experience on X. While the price details remain under wraps, Musk has given us a sneak peek into what to expect. One of these plans will be more pocket-friendly than the current X Premium plan, priced at just $8 per month. In contrast, the other subscription will come with a slightly higher cost but guarantees a completely ad-free experience.

Musk, in an official announcement on X, confirmed the impending launch of these new subscription options. In the first plan, users can access all the platform's features while enduring the occasional presence of ads. On the flip side, the pricier alternative offers a pristine and uninterrupted ad-free environment for subscribers.

X Implements a Counter-Bot Measure

In recent developments, X has initiated a $1 annual membership fee for users in New Zealand and the Philippines. This move aims to combat the menace of bots and spammers on the platform. Under the "Not a Bot" program, users must pay a subscription fee for various actions, including posting content, sending messages, liking, and reposting. The X support page has posted detailed information about this innovative program.

Future Prospects for the "Not a Bot" Program in India

It remains uncertain whether the "Not a Bot" program will be extended to India. While the company has not officially disclosed its plans for India, some sources suggest that the program is currently in the testing phase. Upon successful testing, it is likely to be implemented worldwide. This bold initiative has garnered mixed reactions from users, with some seeing it as a promising move to eradicate bots while others perceive it as a revenue-generating strategy for the company.
