American billionaire Elon Musk, who recently changed Twitter's name and logo to "X," has now playfully offered $1 billion to Wikipedia if the popular website agrees to change its name.

Musk's Viral Offer

In a recent post on his official X account, Musk shared a screenshot of a Wikipedia page that includes a donation appeal from Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales. Musk questioned the need for Wikimedia Foundation, which operates Wikipedia, to request such a substantial donation, expressing his surprise at the funding requirements for running the platform.

Teasing the Donation Request

Musk, in his characteristically teasing manner, playfully suggested that if Wikipedia changed its name to "Dickpedia," he would contribute $1 billion. He added that the platform would need to keep this name for at least one year.

Musk's offer is raising eyebrows and sparking discussions about Wikipedia's funding model and the extent of Musk's influence in the tech world.
