CTO of Twitter, Elon Musk keeps on surprising the users with some or the other tweets. This time, it is the war of words going on between him and Mark Zuckerberg, co-founder of Meta. Musk has recently indicated that his proposed cage fight with Meta co-founder Mark Zuckerberg is likely to take place in Italy.
In a string of posts on Twitter, Musk said that he is in contact of the Prime Minister of Italy and the Ministry of Culture to host the event.
The post reads, “The fight will be managed by my and Zuck’s foundations (not UFC). Livestream will be on this platform and Meta. Everything in the camera frame will be ancient Rome, so nothing modern at all. I spoke to the PM of Italy and the Minister of Culture. They have agreed on an epic location.”
However, replying to the same, Italy’s minister of culture, Gennaro Sangiuliano has denied such claims. The tweet reads, “Long friendly conversation with @elonmusk about a major reenactment event. It will not be held in Rome. There will be a huge donation to two important Italian pediatric hospitals for the upgrading of facilities and scientific research to fight diseases.”
Sangiuliano earlier also cleared the rumours saying that the “Musk-Zuck fight would not be held at Rome’s Colosseum because of ongoing maintenance work.”
Notably, the tech billionaires agreed to a ‘cage fight’ face-off in late June. The war of words began between the two when Zuckerberg launched the new social media platform ‘Threads.’
