In a new update on the feud between billionaires Elon Musk and Meta boss Mark Zuckerberg, the former has once again challenged the latter for a fight and accused him of avoiding the clash. This development took place after Mr Musk responded to a post on X (formerly Twitter), the platform he owns.

In his response, Musk, the world’s wealthiest man has accused Facebook owner Mark Zuckerberg of avoiding their fight and not accepting the challenge. There was a series of exchanges between the two tech giants about a potential MMA-style cage match. However, Musk later said that he was only joking about the whole situation.

Elon Musk’s latest challenge

Musk responded to a post on X where a user commented that searching on Google for Mark Zuckerberg these days throws more UFC content than his actual podcasts.

In his response Musk wrote “Why won’t he fight me!? Zuck said “name the place”, so I named his house, but they said he was away on travel. Perhaps we can fight when we return?”

The post received more than 26,000 views and sparked a buzz among the X users. In some of the responses, the netizens asked if the issue could be resolved without violence, whereas another one said that Mark is not in favour of a friendly match in his backyard but wants a real fight.

Mark and Musk’s rivalry

Days before Mark Zuckerberg launched an app called ‘Threads’ to rival Musk’s X, the two tech giants created a lot of buzz about a cage fight between the two.

The frenzy of this rivalry reached such a height that even the Prime Minister of Italy had agreed to let the two billionaires fight in the historic Roman Colosseum.

The two men have clashed for years but a recent comment by a Meta executive suggesting that Twitter was not run “sanely” irked Mr Musk, eventually leading to the two men offering each other out for a cage fight.
