Tech fans are in for a treat – we could soon be seeing Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg fighting inside a cage! The incredible thing could soon become a reality, thanks to Musk’s light-hearted “challenge” to Zuckerberg.

Replying to a tweet from a Twitter user, Musk jokingly suggested that he is “up for a cage match” with Zuckerberg, but only if “he [Zuckerberg] is” too.

Zuckerberg accepts Musk’s fight challenge

Mark Zuckerberg, in a surprising turn of events, accepted the Tesla chief’s challenge. Posting a screenshot of the tweet on his Instagram story on Thursday, he replied with three stinging words: “Send Me Location”.

Elon Musk, not one to back down, promptly replied, “Vegas Octagon”. The Vegas Octagon is a fighting cage that is used for UFC matches.

Who will win in a fight between Musk and Zuck?

It is unknown whether this fight will actually take place or if it is just an elaborate joke, but if it does, Zuckerberg might have a better chance of taking down his opponent. He recently took part in his first Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competition, shocking everyone by winning gold and silver medals.

On the other hand, Musk, although taller in stature, confirmed, “I almost never work out, except for picking up my kids & throwing them in the air.”

Culmination of long-standing rivalry between Musk and Zuckerberg

Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg have been at loggerheads for some time now. Musk, who often posts memes and jokes on his feed, has been taking digs at the Meta chief after reports surfaced that Meta is planning on creating a Twitter competitor. The competitor has been titled “Project 92”, and Meta is talking to several celebrities, including the Dalai Lama and Oprah Winfrey, to be part of its early adopters.
