The highly anticipated Apple iPhone 15 series was finally launched on September 12, in the ‘Wonderlust’ event. The event also saw the launch of other products such as the Apple Watch Series 9 as well as the second-generation Apple Watch Ultra which bring improvements including newer processors and functionality.
Apple had also announced iOS 17, iPadOS 17, macOS Sonoma, watchOS 10 and tvOS 17 at the Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) 2023 in June this year. These updates will be available from September 18 for all users. In the event, Apple CEO Tim Cook also confirmed d that the Apple Vision Pro augmented reality headset, which was first demoed at the Worldwide Developer Conference WWDC this summer, is on course to go on sale in early 2024.
moreover, this launch also announced that the high giant is doing away with the iconic Lightning port and cables. This change came after the European Union regulated the standardisation of USB-C as the charging port on smartphones, computing devices and broader personal technology gadgets.

The iPhone 15 series will have four models which include iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
The new iPhone 15 series will start at Rs 79,900 for the 128GB model of iPhone 15 whereas the iPhone 15 Plus model starts at Rs 89,900 for the 128 GB model.

The iPhone 15 Pro starts for Rs 1,34,900 for the 128GB model and the iPhone 15 Pro Max starts at Rs 1,59,900 for the 256 GB model.
Moreover, Apple Inc plans to make iPhone 15, manufactured in India, available in the South Asian country. Other than made-in-India iPhones, rest of the phones will come from China., according to media reports.
