The layoffs don’t seem coming to an end, as Amazon has announced another round of layoff. According to the media reports, Amazon has announced that it has cut 5 percent of all jobs in the 'Buy with Prime' unit of the company. This has come just a week after the tech firm announced job cuts in Twitch and Audible.

It is also anticipated that this round of layoff will affect 30 jobs, as sources claim. Noteworthy here is that few days back several from Amazon's Prime and MGM divisions were laid off.

What is ‘Buy with Prime’?

Amazon's ‘Buy with Prime’ that was launched in 2022, allows millions of US-based Prime members to shop directly from brands' online stores with the convenient and trusted experience they expect from Amazon—including fast, free delivery, a seamless checkout experience, and free returns on eligible orders. However, the company has said that the unit remains their top priority and would continue investing significant resources in Buy with Prime.

Amazon is not alone, the tech giant Google on Thursday announced that the company will come up with a string of layoff soon. Last year also Google slashed more than 12,000 employees which was one of the biggest layoffs seen till date.
