Apple hosted its ‘Let Loose’ event on May 7, during which it unveiled the latest additions to its product lineup. Among the announcements were the new iPad Air, iPad Pro, and Apple Pencil Pro, showcasing Apple's commitment to innovation in the tech market.

New iPad Air and iPad Pro Features

The new iPad Air made its debut in two sizes: 11-inch and 13-inch, both equipped with a vibrant Liquid Retina display. It boasts a powerful M2 chip, enhancing performance and efficiency for users. On the other hand, the revamped iPad Pro comes with the cutting-edge Apple M4 chip, also in 11-inch and 13-inch variants, and features an Ultra Retina XDR display with state-of-the-art tandem OLED technology.

Apple Pencil Pro Enhancements

Apple also introduced the new Apple Pencil Pro with advanced functionalities such as squeeze, barrel roll, and haptic feedback. This upgraded stylus includes the Find My feature and conveniently attaches magnetically to the side of the iPad, making it a versatile tool for creative professionals and enthusiasts alike.

Price and Availability

The new iPad Air and iPad Pro are available in various configurations, with prices starting from Rs 59,900 for the Wi-Fi model of the 11-inch iPad Air and going up to Rs 1,49,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model of the 13-inch iPad Pro. Interested customers can place their orders starting May 7 through Apple’s official website and the Apple Store app, with deliveries scheduled to commence on May 15.

The iPad Air features up to 1TB of storage, a Liquid Retina display with anti-reflective screen coating, True Tone technology, and support for P3 wide colour. It also includes an Ultra Wide 12MP camera, Wi-Fi 6E, and super-fast 5G capabilities for cellular models.

Meanwhile, the iPad Pro boasts up to 2TB of storage, an Ultra Retina XDR display with incredible brightness levels, a new nano-texture glass option for reduced glare, Thunderbolt 3 and USB 4 support, Wi-Fi 6E, and 5G connectivity.
