A 26-year-old woman constable from Mizoram has committed suicide at her home in Delhi’s Mehrauli. The incident has been reported on Monday by the police officials.

According to the sources, the woman constable was posted at Kishangarh Police Station and committed suicide at her rented home in Mehrauli.

Sources claim that police have also recovered a suicide note from her home and has initiated an investigation in the case.

A similar incident has been reported from Delhi’s Paharganj police station, when a constable ended his life in the barrack itself in January 2023.
