A bizarre incident took place in Delhi on Friday where a delivery boy was allegedly stabbed multiple times by a woman when he sought her help in locating an address in Dwarka’s Sector 23.

The assault was captured on the CCTV which shows a woman passing by a delivery service agent when he speaks to her. Following which she swiftly turns and attacks him by stabbing his neck with a knife. She also pulls out the keys of the scooter and flings them into the bushes.

According to the police the agent had come to deliver a package and sought her help in finding a location following which the woman attacked him. Surprised by the attack he gets off the scooter and tries to flee the scene.

The woman then pushes the scooter to the ground.

Delhi resident’s reaction to scene

Residents quickly gathered to the scene in the video and an argument broke out between them. As the delivery person turned to the residents she tried to destroy the tire of the scooter with her knife. The woman then also puts her feet on top of the fallen scooter and starts to threaten the residents.

The woman continued to terrorize the residents even after the police had reached the spot. After the knife was snatched from her she picked up a stick and started to thrash the police cars and other vehicles nearby. To resist the police she even pulled the hair of a woman police person and scratched them before finally being arrested.

The delivery agent identified as Golu, suffered many injuries and is reportedly undergoing treatment at a hospital right now. As per his statement to the police, he alleges that the woman also used a brick to bash his scooter and chased him with the knife in her hand.

According to the residents of that area the woman is known to live alone as a tenant in the DDA flats and has a history of starting such disputes with her neighbours, however, there was no action against her so far.

A case has now been registered against the woman for endangering the safety of others and assaulting a police officer.
