Violence erupts during Mahavir Yatra in Bihar, disrupts peace

On the occasion of Nag Panchami on Monday, clashes have been broken out between two groups in Bihar’s Motihari town during a procession ‘Mahavir Yatra’.

According to the officials, the violence erupted between two groups who were shouting and pelting stones from building ledges. However, the cause of clashes is not known. The police officials have confirmed that the situation is under control.
