A shocking video has surfaced on the internet showing two men forcefully making a horse take puffs of something that seems to be weed (marijuana). This disheartening video has been reported filmed on the way to one of the holiest sites, Kedarnath Temple. The video shared on Twitter has caught peoples attention and demanded the authorities take strict actions against these men. They are now looking into this serious matter of animal abuse. The video has gone viral on social media platforms, raising concerns about the safety of the pilgrims riding the intoxicated animals. Thats not it, the video also points towards the bigger picture of animal cruelty and abuse in such places. Amidst this scenario, the issue is gaining the attention of the tourist also, resulting in a bombshell to the tourist sector. Its depressing that it is not the first case of animal cruelty. The video in discussion is one of the examples of the exacerbation of the same problem. What is in the videoIn the viral video, two men can clearly be seen forcing the horse to take a puff of a substance that seems to be a weed. They can be seen using their hands to lock the animals mouth and nostrils. At the same time, they insert the roll into the animals nostril. Unwillingly, the horse struggling to breathe inhales the drug and exhales the smoke.(Note: The video was sensitive and depressing for the viewers, therefore, we avoided showcasing it.)Uttarakhand Police to look into this matter When the video went viral, the state police took cognizance of the situation and addressed the matter. The police said, “We have taken cognizance of the viral video wherein a horse is forcefully given smoke. We are trying to identify the men in the video.”Moreover, the police have urged people to report all such incidents on the police emergency number or to a nearby police station. They also assured of immediate action in the cases to prevent such incidents in the future. Apart from the authorities, many social media users came forward against the abuse of animals demanding punishment for such actions.
