The journey from the revered land of the gods to the sacred destination of Ayodhya is now accessible through air travel at a nominal cost of 1999 rupees. This exclusive offer, a substantial reduction from the standard 7006 rupees flight ticket, will remain valid until March 20th. Notably, on the inauguration day, Pantnagar, Varanasi, and Amritsar will also have a promotional rental fee of 1999 rupees. Subsequent flights, however, will adhere to the regular fares. The inauguration of these flights is slated to be officiated by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Wednesday at Jollygrant.The Uttarakhand government has announced the initiation of regular flight services from Jollygrant Airport to three major cities – Ayodhya, Varanasi, and Amritsar, starting Wednesday, as part of the Air Connectivity scheme. Information Director Bansi Dhar Tiwari revealed that the Civil Aviation Department has finalized the schedule and fare for these upcoming flights.Tiwari highlighted that the government has slashed the fare for flights to Ayodhya to a mere 1999 rupees until March 20th, presenting a noteworthy discount of 5000 rupees per ticket for individuals intending to visit Ayodhya and the revered Shri Ram Temple. On the inaugural day, flights from Dehradun to Amritsar, Varanasi, and Pantnagar will be available at a reduced rental fee of 1999 rupees on March 6th and 7th.For Ayodhya-bound flights, the schedule will include operations every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The discounted fare will be applicable until March 20th, following which the regular fare structure will be implemented. The rental fees for flights from Pantnagar to Dehradun and Varanasi to Pantnagar have been established at 4500 rupees and 6400 rupees, respectively. Regular flights from both locations are set to commence on March 23rd, operating on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.Additionally, regular flights from Dehradun to Amritsar, catering to the Hemkund Sahib pilgrimage, will operate every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with a standard fare set at 4850 rupees.
