According to the updates, a team from the state disaster response force (SDRF) has begun the search and rescue operations.As per senior officials of disaster management, the incident happened on Thursday night following heavy territorial rains and many are feared to be buried under the debris. Apart from this, three shops on the route of the Gaurikund post bridge got damaged after the landslide. SP Rudraprayag, Dr Visakha has informed that “The operation is going on to find the missing people.”Disaster Management Officer, Dalip Singh Rajwar says, “We got information that 3 shops were affected because of falling rocks and heavy rainfall…The search operation was started immediately.
