Uttarakhand: Fire in Mussoorie hotel, 2 cars destroyed 

In Uttarakhand’s Mussoorie, a fire broke out in a hotel today. The fire occurred due to a short circuit late at night, according to media reports.

Fire breaks out at Mussoorie hotel

Reportedly, the fire took place at Sidus Rink Hotel on Camels Back Road. During the ablaze, it also destroyed two vehicles parked at the hotel. However, no casualties have been reported so far.

Plumes of grey smoke were seen in the background as the fire raged on. the reports said that the hotel was undergoing reconstruction work when the fire broke out.

Amid the fire, panic ensued and the authorities evacuated the people in the area.

Fire tenders reach spot immediately

Upon receiving the information about the ablaze, several fire tenders rushed immediately to the spot to douse it.

“Renovation work is going on in this hotel located on Camel Back Road, due to which the hotel is empty and there has been no loss of life. Fire brigades are trying to control the fire,” SHO Bisht told ANI.
