In a recent blast at a firecracker factory, around seven people died and 11 were reportedly left injured. The factory near the Prayagraj -Kanpur highway in Bhariwari town is under the Kokhraj Police station in Kaushambi district of Prayagraj and caught fire on Sunday. As per the local police, seven of the injured were critically ill when taken to medical attention, while the other two of the deceased are yet to be ascertained.
Breaking down the blast
After the fire broke, which made the large plumes of smoke vivible, a rescue was initiated. The workers Shiv Narayan (40), Rekha Devi (30), Mangla Prasad (32), Shivakant alias Ballu Patel (30), Ashok Kumar (42), and Rajendra alias Kallu Patel (32) were among the fatalities. Shahid Ali, the 35-year-old son of factory owner Sharafat Ali, was also identified.
Kausar Ali, 32, the second son of Sharafat Ali, is one of the critically injured patients receiving treatment at SRN Hospital in Prayagraj. Naresh, Ashok Patel, and Jaychandra, also known as Dinna, Nikhil, Raja, Gaya Prasad, Rambhavan, Mukesh, Munna, and Rakesh, are among the other injured parties.
