The invitation procedure for the January 22 event of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has been launched amid the preparations for the holy Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya.

The foundation stone of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya was laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 5, 2020.

According to the official information, a list of about 6000 well-known individuals, including saints and VVIPs, has been finalised by the Trust, and these individuals will be invited to the Ram Mandir's grand opening event.

The consecration ceremony will be presided over by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who will be joined by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. Invitations are distributed to the recipients via WhatsApp as PDF files in addition to being issued via mail. Furthermore, the guests will also receive a link on their mobile phone that enables them to generate an e-pass for the entry at the venue. The trust has also made it mandatory to carry the Aadhaar card.

UP govt organises Akhand Ramayan recitation

As per official sources, the Uttar Pradesh government will organise a recitation of Akhand Ramayan and Hanuman Chalisa in major temples of the state in January 2024. The recitation events will be held from January 14 to 22.

Other than this, various religious programs have been prepared by the trust to make the event memorable.

It is noteworthy that the Supreme Court in 2019 paved the way for the construction of a grand Ram temple and ended the Ram temple dispute. Following the top court verdict, the Centre set up ‘Shri Ram Janma Bhoomi Tirtha Kshetra' Trust to take all decisions regarding the construction of a magnificent Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
