A massive fight broke out at a wedding ceremony in Uttar Pradesh’s Agra over shortage of rasgullas (sweet dish), leaving six people injured, said the police.

Reportedly, this shocking incident was reported around Sunday night. After this, the injured were immediately taken to the hospital and their condition is stable now, the police said.

Speaking to the news agency PTI, SHO Shamsabad police station, Anil Sharma said, “Six people were injured in the incident and a case has been registered. Those who are in hospital are out of danger.”

"On Sunday, there was a wedding function at the residence of Brijbhan Kushwaha... at the function, a person passed a comment on the shortage of rasgullas," he informed.

Soon, the shortage of rasgullas led to a fight, leaving Bhagwan Devi, Yogesh, Manoj, Kailash, Dharmendra and Pawan injured, the SHO said.

A similar incident happened in October 2022, when a man was killed in a fight over a shortage of sweets at a wedding in Etmadpur.
