Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed that only those invited by the Ram Mandir Trust or on official duty will be allowed entry into Ayodhya on January 22 for the temple consecration ceremony.

Here’s CM Yogi’s instructions:

Chairing a review meeting in Ayodhya on Thursday, he directed officials to get local hotels to cancel non-VIP bookings and prioritise trust invitees.

"On January 22, only people with invitation letters or deployed for government duty can visit Ayodhya," he stated. "It's come to notice some have booked hotels and dormitories in advance. These should be cancelled to avoid management issues."

100 planes expected to be deployed

The chief minister wants to avoid crowding with special guests arriving from across India and 100 planes expected at the airport. The trust has made its accommodation arrangements for devotees.

CM Yogi also advised ensuring fixed rates at remaining hotels and dormitories for other pilgrims. He asked officials to divert flights on January 22nd and ensure smooth arrangements for the landmark ceremony.

The inauguration of the new Ram Mandir, whose construction recently concluded, is a historic event for Hindus worldwide. Security and crowd management are paramount with lakhs expected to descend on the temple town for celebrations.
