Eight people were burned to death and two others seriously injured in a horrific head-on collision between a car and a dumper truck on the Bareilly-Nainital Highway, near Bhojipura police station, on Saturday night, as per officials.According to eyewitnesses, the car tyre burst, sending it careening into the path of the oncoming dumper truck, which was travelling from Uttarakhand. The impact sparked a massive explosion as both vehicles burst into flames, trapping the occupants inside.Police and fire personnel rushed to the scene after being alerted by local residents.
