A 26-year-old woman has been abandoned by her husband after her father-in-law raped her. The incident has been reported from Uttar Pradeshs Muzaffarnagar. According to the police officials, the complaint got registered on August 7.The woman in her complaint said that she was allegedly raped by her father-in-law on August 5, in the absence of her husband. She was even threatened and beaten up by him. Woman further said that when she narrated the incident of rape to her husband, he refused to live with her and expelled her from his house. The victim is currently living with her parents.The woman is seven-month pregnant, but she has not mentioned this in her report.According to the police officials, they have registered a complaint against the accused and victims husband under relevant sections of IPC and has initiated an investigation.Apart from this, the statement of the victim has been recorded before magistrate under section 164 of CrPC. Although, her father-in-law has denied allegations against him. Police is investigating the case.
