2 killed, including child in ‘explosion’ at Aligarh warehouse

A tragic incident happened in Uttar Pradesh’s Aligarh, when an explosion occurred inside a warehouse, killing two people, including a child while others sustained injuries, said the officials.

Speaking to the news agency ANI, the District Magistrate of Siddharthnagar, Pawan Aggarwal said, “One child and a man died in the incident and four were injured.”

Further, two injured people have been discharged after getting treatment at a hospital.

"Two others are also out of danger. They are being shifted to the district hospital.”

Explosion in compressor of refrigerator: DM

According to preliminary investigation, it appears there were 7-8 refrigerators inside a warehouse which led to this explosion, he said.

"There was an explosion in the compressor of the refrigerator," he said.
