A picture was shared showing ancient temple remains in Ram Mandir site by the General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra, Champat Rai which showed parts of idols carved out of large stones and pillars. These findings were discovered at the Ram Mandir site in Ayodhya, where excavation is underway for the construction of a grand Ram Mandir. Rai is also the international Vice President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP).

Rai shared a post on X which read “Remains of an ancient temple found during excavation at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi. It includes many statues and pillars.”

Last week the official account of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra shared pictures of the first floor of the Ram Temple on X (Twitter) which is currently under construction in Ayodhya and wrote “Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir – First Floor”

Moreover, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also offered his prayers to Lord Rama at Ram Janamabhoomi in Ayodhya.

Specifics of Ram Mandir

The construction of the grand Ram Mandir is going on in full swing and is expected to be completed by 2025. The temple is 380 feet long, 250 feet wide, and 161 feet high with the sanctum sanctorum spread over 20 feet. The temple’s foundation was laid in August 2020 and construction work on the first floor has already begun.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the constitution of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra, to oversee the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya in February 2020.

The temple’s foundation saw an elaborate ceremony presided over by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 5, 2020.

On November 9, 2019, a five-judge Supreme Court bench led by then Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi ruled in favour of Ram Lalla and said that the entire disputed land spread over 2.7 acres will be handed over to a trust formed by the government, which will monitor the construction of a Ram Temple at the site.
