An elderly couple in Uttar Pradeshs Sitapur was beaten to death with iron rods and sticks by their neighbours. Amid this, three people linked to this brutal case were arrested, and police said that the murder was allegedly a result of an affair between the victims son and the daughter of one of the accused.The couple, identified as Abbas and his wife Kamrul Nisha, died on the spot in the attack on Friday and then the all accused fled the spot.What was the planAccording to Sitapur Superintendent of Police Chakresh Mishra, a few years back Abbass son had eloped with a girl from the neighbouring household. A case was registered regarding the same and Abbass son was sent to jail.When the victims son was released from jail just a couple of days back, some members of the girls family planned to attack the couple, the police said.Abbass son marries Shaukats girl in June“According to the villagers, the son of the deceased couple and Shaukat Rampals daughter Ruby had an affair. Shaukat had abducted Ruby in the year 2020. At that time, Ruby was a minor and after registering a case, the police sent Shaukat to jail. He again abducted and married Ruby in June,” Chakresh Mishra said.Three main accused have been arrested so far, a hunt is on to catch two more, said the police official.
