UP man throws a 5-year-old to ground till his death in Mathura, video viral

A depressing incident took place in Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura, where a 5-year-old was beaten to death by an elder man. This disturbing incident was captured on camera and now went viral on social media, showing the accused man, who was dressed as a seer, repeatedly throwing the child on the ground.

The police identified the accused as 52-year-old Omprakash. The video of the incident was captured in the CCTV footage.

The motive behind the attack is still unknown.

Speaking about the incident, the locals said that the accused was performing Saptkosi Yatra. The father of the deceased kid runs a small general store along the Yatra route.

Official statements

The police said Omprakash picked up the victim and threw him on the ground several times for reasons unknown.

Enraged over this brutal incident, the locals then caught the accused and thrashed him before handing him over the to police.

Superintendent of Police (Rural) Trigun Bisen said, “The motive behind the incident will be clear after the questioning of the seer, once his condition stabilises in hospital.”
