A case of sheer negligence has been reported from Uttar Pradesh’s Mainpuri, where a 17-year-old girl died after she was given wrong injection by the hospital staff and without admitting their fault and informing this to family, they dumped the body outside the hospital.

The victim’s family has alleged that hospital staff dumped the body outside hospital gate and fled from the spot. A video from outside hospital has surfaced on social media which shows lifeless girl on the motorcycle.

However, the family of the victim has not filed any FIR yet.

Meanwhile, soon after getting the information of the incident, taking a prompt action in the case, the chief medical officer sealed the hospital.

Probe ordered by Mainpuri CMO

A probe has been ordered by the chief medical officer of Mainpuri. A two-member committee has been formed to investigate the case. Meanwhile, people who were admitted to the hospital have been shifted to the nearby health centre in Godna. The hospital has been sealed after the incident.
