Deepti Bahl, a woman who committed fraud worth Rs 15,000 crore in the Uttar Pradesh Bike Bot scam, secures the top spot in the list of most wanted women. Whereas, Shaista Parveen, wife of Atiq Ahmed is currently in the second spot in the most wanted list of women in Uttar Pradesh.
Shaista Parveen, the wife of the mafia boss, is still hiding from capture days after the murders of gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf. She has earned a spot on the Uttar Pradesh “most wanted” list and a reward of Rs 50,000 for information leading to her capture.
According to the reports, currently, Deepti and others involved in the fraud case are still missing and police are conducting a massive manhunt to nab all of them. The Uttar Pradesh police have also set a Rs 5 lakh reward for the information leading to her capture.
Notably, Deepti Bahl is one of the four prime accused in the case. Through the UP Bike Bot scam, the group allegedly committed fraud worth Rs 15,000 crore in Noida and Ghaziabad. Along with Deepti, her husband Sanjay Bhati is also one of the main accused in the case. Following the authorities’ exposure of the UP Bike Bot scam, Deepti Bahl and her husband Sanjay Bhati shut down their company, stole crores of rupees from its investors, and fled to avoid capture.
Reportedly, Sanjay Bhati and Deepti Bahl were the masterminds and the main accused in the UP Bike Bot scam. To make quick money, they initially built a real estate company named ‘Garvit Innovative Promoter Limited’ in Noida. Sooner, they launched the ‘Bike Bot – The Bike Taxi Powered by GIPL’ scheme. Investors in this plan were required to pay Rs 62,000 for a bike that served as a two-wheeled taxi. Investors were promised enormous returns by this program. The rental was set at Rs 4,590 per bike per month and the EMI was established at Rs 5,175 per month.
The plan attracted almost 2 lakh investors, but they never received a payout. With thousands of crores of money from investors, largely from Noida and Ghaziabad, Deepti Bahl and her husband have vanished.
Deepti, a resident of Badripuram, Kankarkheda, Meerut, is wanted by the police for 4 years and is holding a prize of 5 lakhs. In contrast to this, Economic Offences Wing kept a prize starting at Rs 50,000 in 2020 that was continuously raised. He also had his Loni home attached at the same time. According to the information, more than 100 identified FIRs have been filed against him across the nation. It is anticipated that the UP Police would shortly begin a campaign to apprehend these wanted criminals.
Deepti Bahl is now at large and the most wanted female criminal in Uttar Pradesh. A reward of Rs 5 lakh has been offered for her capture.
Campaigning to maintain the law and order in the state, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s government has ruled out a list of the most wanted criminals in Uttar Pradesh. the list has been created by the officials of the state government and the UP Police, which includes people who have committed serious crimes, like extortion, murder, rape, robbery and illegal possession used to be minor incidents for them.
A senior official has said that new names have been added to the most wanted criminals list. Vijender Singh Hooda, a resident of Meerut, involved in the Bike Bot scam has also been named. In the same case, Deepti Bahl with her husband Sanjay Bhati, residents of Ghaziabad are been named with a bounty of Rs 5 lakh.
Apart from this, criminals are on the wanted criminal list from across the state.
