A shocking incident came to light from UP in which a 40-year-old father was arrested for allegedly raping his two minor daughters over a time period of four years. He also threatened to kill them if they objected to his demands, a police official said on Monday.

According to the official, the traumatized sisters aged, 15 and 16, used to attend their school classes half-heartedly which made a teacher look for the reason from the elder sister. Upon learning the brutality the two siblings were facing at the hands of their father, the teacher immediately informed the police.

According to the girls, their mother was the only earner of the family as their father went jobless a few years ago. They told the teacher that after leaving the school, they used to sit in a park till their mother returned from work, as per the official.

The accused was arrested by the ACP of Masuri Naresh Kumar.

Similar minor rape incident in UP

In another shocking minor rape incident from UP, two persons were arrested on Monday in connection to the rape and murder of a 16-year-old, police said.

The accused has been identified as Sunil Gaur (35) and Durgesh Kumar Yadav alias Melhu (21).

As per Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Gaurav Grove, the accused Sunil and the victim were in a romantic relationship after the former started visiting the girl’s house to buy fodder.

On September 26, when the girl’s mother had gone out for some work, Sunil Gaur went to her house and raped her. The girl asked Sunil Gaur to marry her. Angered by this, Sunil Gaur had an argument with the girl and slammed her head against a wooden bed before strangling her to death, he said.

Both the accused have been booked under sections 302 (murder), 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention), 201 (causing disappearance of evidence of the offence or giving false information to screen offender) and 376 (rape) of the Indian Penal Code and relevant provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
