Further, a probe is still underway into this matter.Briefing about the investigation, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Sarvesh Kumar Mishra said, “We informed the boys family, and registered a case, and subsequently detained three individuals involved.”“Citizens should not resort to such actions and that the beating of the minor was unacceptable by any standards,” he said.“If such incidents occur in the future, strict measures will be taken against those responsible,” the ACP added.Meanwhile, the boys mother said, “My son did not commit any theft, and there is no evidence of any theft.”
