Allahabad High Court on Sunday pulled up both Uttar Pradesh government and Railway after woman cop found in the poll of blood in the inside the train compartment on August 30.

According to the information, the woman was attacked in a train compartment of Saryu Express with injuries on her face and head on August 30. Soon after getting the information, she was rushed to the hospital, and is believed to be stable. However, reason for the attack is yet to be known.

The complaint was registered by the victim’s brother on the same day. The victim also denied any kind of sexual assault, police said.

Meanwhile, the Chief Justice Pritinker Diwaker convened a late evening hearing at his residence on Sunday along with Justice Ashutosh Srivastava based on a message that he received on social media group.

The bench of judges slammed the Railway Protection Force (RPF) for failing in discharge of its duties and has asked for the status report in the case by September 13. Adding to this, the court has also issued the notice to Centre, the Ministry of Railways, the director general of RPF, the Uttar Pradesh government, and the Ministry of Home and State Commission for Women for the incident.
