A married 28-year-old woman was found dead in Badagaon village of Sirauli area of Uttar Pradesh (UP). She also had a gunshot wound on her body, the police said on Tuesday.The victim has been identified as Rishibala and the incident took place on Monday. According to the police, the womans family are alleging that she was killed by her in-laws.UP womans family blame in-lawsCircle officer Deepshikha Ahibaran Singh said the victims uncle Harpal has in his complaint accused her in-laws of killing her. Her body has also been sent for post-mortem and forensic teams have collected evidence from the crime spot, the police said.Police reports say that during the time of the death, Rishibalas husband Gappu was in his crop field. The body was found by her brother-in-law Durvesh when he returned to the house.The family members initially reported the death as a case of suicide and did not inform the police for about one hour, police said.A probe is on in the matter.
