TMC announces candidates for Rajya Sabha elections, here is the list…

West Bengal’s Trinamool Congress has announced the list of candidates for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections that are scheduled to take place in 10 states on July 24. The Trinamool Congress has also named party spokesperson Derek O’Brien, along with other candidates for the forthcoming Rajya Sabha elections.

The other names on the list include Dola Sen, Sukhendu Sekhar Ray, Samirul Islam, Prakash Chik Baraik, and Saket Gokhale.

Notably, the Election Commission of India has declared that elections for 10 Rajya Sabha seats will take place on July 24 in Goa, Gujarat, and West Bengal. It is to be noted here that these members are set to retire in July and August.

O’Brien, Sen, Ray, Sushmita Dev, and Shanta Chhetri are retiring from West Bengal, this is why TMC has decided to name them again.
