Former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was admitted to hospital after he slipped and fell on Thursday. Reportedly, KCR suffered a fall at his farmhouse in Erravalli.

Following this incident, he was immediately rushed to Hyderabad’s Yashoda Hospital, where was admitted.

In the recently concluded assembly elections in Telangana, the K Chandrashekhar Rao-led Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) hoped for a hat-trick, but was dethroned by the Congress.

Notably, the Congress won 64 assembly seats in the 199-member House. While the KCR’s BRS bagged only 39 seats.

On Thursday, Congress legislature party leader A Revanth Reddy took oath as the state's Chief Minister.

The ceremony was attended by top Congress leaders, including Sonia Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge.
