People residing in the upper stories are being evacuated through windows.21 people have been rescued so far, with 10 of them taken out from the building in an unconscious state.Blaze caused by spark during car repairThe fire started on the ground floor where chemicals were kept and then it engulfed other floors. As per the initial report, the blaze was caused by a spark during a car repair.However, the cause of the fire and the extent of damage are yet to be officially ascertained.According to an eyewitness, the chemicals caught fire, and it was not extinguished with water.Several fire tenders were rushed to the spot after the fire brigade was alerted at around 09:35 am on Monday.Earlier today, another fire broke out at a shop near Lalitha Hospital in Kothapet in Hyderabad. No casualties were reported in the incident.
