The income tax department has carried out the raids at over 40 locations including the houses and offices across Tamil Nadu of the state electricity minister V Senthil Balaji. Notably, Bajalji is the senior leader from Karur.

According to the officials, raids are still underway in Chennai, Karur and other places.

As per sources, the clashes break out between DMK workers and IT officials, who came to search the premises of Tamil Nadu Minister Senthil Balaji’s brother Ashok, in Karur district.
