India’s largest and most state-of-the-art camera lounge, GP Pro, has become home to Delhi. The fascinating experience store will be a paradise for photography and videography enthusiasts. The store is opened in South Delhi’s Lajpat Nagar. People will be able to explore an extensive range of Sony’s cutting-edge digital imaging products, including cameras, lenses, and accessories.
Whether clients are enthusiastic about videography, photography, or vlogging, the GP Pro lounge is meant to give an interactive shopping experience catering to customers at every level of competence. The lounge is destined to become the city’s premier creative hangout.
The 1,000+ square foot lounge will showcase the full line of Sony products, including 17+ APS-C and full-frame cameras, 70+ lenses, 17 premium G Master lenses, cinema line cameras like the FX30, FX3, and FX6, and a full line of accessories like microphones, shooting grips with wireless remote commanders, external flashes, and memory cards.
Sunil Nayyar, Managing Director of Sony India, commented on the occasion, saying, “As content creation takes centre stage, we wanted to create an exclusive and experiential space where customers could explore various photography and videography solutions in an immersive environment and pick-and-choose digital imaging products that are best suited to their requirements. We are sure that New Delhi’s cutting-edge camera lounge will become the industry standard for image technology and customer service.
“At Sony, we are committed to meeting the creative demands of professionals by bringing their vision to life, making each product unique based on its usage in the hands of experts,” said Mukesh Srivastava, Head of Digital Imaging at Sony India. The lounge will provide clients with a quick fix for their photography, filmmaking, and vlogging needs. The Bengaluru lounge is now the largest in India, and the Delhi lounge is our second largest after that city. In the future, we plan to expand to other major cities with additional experience stores.
Sony’s first lounge opened in Bengaluru in 2019, with the endeavour to offer the best in-class consumer experience. The store is spread over 500 square-feet area in Gandhi Nagar, Bengaluru. According to the officials, the lounge has helped customers to explore, purchase and experience a wide range of Alpha camera line-ups and interesting camera accessories.
As per sources, Sony has partnered with DT Zone to open the first PlayStation store in India. Earlier the product was available on online platforms only. For years, Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) has sold its gaming console in India through a variety of physical and online outlets. Customers who wanted to purchase the PlayStation 5 (PS5) were forced to rely on a variety of online businesses, including ShopatSC, Amazon, and Flipkart, as well as brick-and-mortar retailers, like Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales, etc. Customers may benefit from having access to the well-liked gaming system in India thanks to the new dedicated PlayStation shop.
According to the information, it seems that Sony has partnered with a third-party retailer to open its first store in India. However, there is no official statement on this.
The store which is currently up and running at New Delhi’s Punjabi Bagh offers one-stop shop for various Sony gaming consoles. These include Sony’s Dual Sense game controllers, headphones, and PlayStation. Some titles could even be available for direct purchase from the retailer.
The PlayStation Plus membership options, which provide gamers access to a vast library of titles, are further highlighted at the new store. Additionally, it gives users access to additional services including the Classics Catalogue and Game Trials. The official website may be used to activate the subscription plan. It appears that users may now also be able to purchase a PlayStation Plus subscription through an offline retailer, though.
