Veteran Congress leader Sonia Gandhi is all set to attend this weeks meeting of the INDIA bloc in Maharashtras Mumbai and the gathering will witness the unveiling of the opposition groupings logo, said Nana Patole, the state party unit president.Sonia Gandhi to attend 3rd INDIA bloc meeting in MumbaiNotably, this meeting will be a third gathering of the anti-NDA bloc, which has over two dozen parties. The two-day meeting will commence from August 31 – September 1 in a luxurious hotel in Mumbai.Speaking to the media today, Nana Patole said, “Sonia Gandhi will attend the INDIA alliance meet in Mumbai.” He said that the opposition blocs official logo will also be unveiled during the gathering, where opposition leaders will also discuss their agenda ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.Previous opposition meetingsEarlier, the first meeting of the bloc was held in June in Bihars Patna, while the second gathering in Bengaluru in July finalised its name — Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA).Basically, this bloc has been formed to take the BJP-led NDA (National Democratic Alliance) in the 2024 polls.
