Slain gangster Atiq Ahmed’s lawyer arrested in link with Umesh Pal murder case

In a latest development in the Umesh Pal murder case, the lawyer of the slain gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed was arrested by the Uttar Pradesh police. Umesh Pal was the key witness in the killing of former BSP legislator Raju Pal.

Atiq’s lawyer arrested

According to the police sources, the lawyer, identified as Vijay Mishra, had given the shooter Umesh Pal’s location.

Mishra was arrested from outside Hotel Hyatt Legacy in UP’s capital city, Luucknow on late Saturday night.
