Congress leaders Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar were designated as the new chief minister and deputy chief minister of Karnataka on Saturday. On the occasion, eight Congress MLAs – featuring Mallikarjun Kharges son Priyank and ex-deputy chief minister G Parameshwara too took oaths as ministers.
